Our monthly meetings are open to all. Please be aware that because of the rising cost of speakers and room hire, we have had to introduce a charge of £2 for members and £4 for visitors for meetings that feature a visiting speaker.

National Trust gardener Ann Tulloch will be giving Composting Tips. Ann will talk about a range of different composting units she uses, using different techniques. Also she will be able to answer questions about National Trust environment policies, such as peat free gardening and organic principles.

A social evening, making festive decorative wreaths. There will be a small charge for materials for those wishing to make a wreath.

Archaeologist Peter Rowley-Conwy will give a talk entitled “Dewilding Rewilding: a view from environmental archaeology” giving a more nuanced archaeological view of a trendy topic.

Potato Day at Bowburn Community Centre with a range of varieties of seed potato, many of them organic, for sale in quantities from a single tuber upwards.
